Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
Although they are not even the highest cliffs in Ireland the Cliffs of Moher are among the most spectacular in western Europe. Rising 700 feet sheer out of the Atlantic Ocean in County Clare, the cliffs are one of Ireland’s top tourist attractions. This picture was taken from O’Brien’s Tower, a 19th century observation post built on the highest point of the cliffs.
